We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Search Engine Optimisation Specialist. As an integral part of our search engine optimisation efforts, you'll work closely with our experienced team to develop your skills in SEO.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for developing a solid understanding of SEO concepts and best practices, which will enable you to make informed decisions on optimising web pages for better visibility in search engine results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of SEO principles and apply them effectively to drive organic traffic to our website.
  • Conduct thorough audits, keyword research, backlinking, and optimisation techniques to improve website performance.
  • Utilise industry-leading SEO tools and software to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Analyse Google analytics metrics to inform optimisation strategies that drive real results.
  • Apply image optimisation, caching, and compression techniques to enhance website performance and improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with the team to design web page layouts and flows that maximise conversions and engage users.
Requirements
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn, grow and develop your skills.
  • Strong communication and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • A basic understanding of website functionality and online marketing principles, which will enable you to understand how to drive traffic to our website.
  • Strong English grammar and writing skills, which are essential for creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Australian working rights, which will allow you to legally work in Australia.
