Job Title: Personal Care Worker

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Personal Care Workers to join our team at Australian Unity. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our aged care customers, enabling them to live independently and remain in their own homes.

About the Role:
  • Deliver in-home support services to our aged care customers, providing assistance with activities of daily living, such as showering, dressing, and medication management.
  • Provide domestic assistance, including light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Offer social support, including transportation to appointments and social outings, shopping, and emotional support and companionship.
  • Conduct administration tasks, including reporting and progress notes.
Requirements:
  • 12 months+ experience and/or completed a Cert III in Individual Support / Disability / completed 1st year of a Nursing degree.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 4 days between Monday to Friday within the hours of 8am - 6pm.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a reliable comprehensive insured vehicle.
  • Fully vaccinated (2) for Covid-19.
  • Ability to commit to our PAID 2 week (Monday to Friday) 'The Orientation Program' training and induction program when you first commence.
