Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Child Care Educator to join our team at KU Carillon Avenue in Newtown.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with a monthly rostered day off. As a Child Care Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our children, and contributing to a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Develop and implement engaging and play-based learning programs
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, adhering to KU's child safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Completed training in Child Protection
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
