Operating Theatre Support Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic healthcare team as an Operating Theatre Assistant.
As an Operating Theatre Assistant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment providing critical support to surgeons and medical staff during operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the operating theatre in a safe and clean condition, preparing equipment and supplies, and transporting patients to and from the theatre.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Safe patient transport
- Maintenance and cleanliness of Operating Theatre
- Preparing operating theatre by setting up required equipment
- Assisting clinical staff with preparation of deceased body for transfer to morgue
- Effective communication and coordination
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment. If you have excellent communication skills, are able to work well under pressure, and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, then this may be the ideal role for you.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in operating theatre or related field
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Manual handling skills
- Basic computer skills
