Procurement Specialist - Supplier Management

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for the establishment, placement and management of contracting arrangements with suppliers to deliver business requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Aid the procurement elements of bids and tenders ensuring robust definition of requirements and commercial terms.
  • Support the supplier evaluation process and sourcing recommendations on behalf of the business.
  • Develop and implement robust supplier sourcing strategies for the business.
  • Proactively manage supplier performance to achieve contract requirements from a schedule, cost and quality perspective.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and finalise Supplier Agreements and purchase orders in accordance with set procedures.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is highly regarded.
  • Defence industry experience would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement or supply chain.
  • Familiarity and experience in contract development and negotiation with key suppliers.
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and deliver on commitments.
