Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to fill the role of Head of Science. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on promoting high quality teaching, learning and assessment.

The Head of Science will lead the development and implementation of innovative curriculum-based programs that cater to diverse student needs and foster academic excellence.

This position requires effective collaboration with senior leaders to drive whole-school initiatives that align with our strategic objectives and enhance student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge curricula aligned with syllabus requirements
  • Leverage your leadership skills to efficiently manage school systems and processes
  • Collaborate with senior teams to design and implement school-wide initiatives

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate staff members
  • Strong emphasis on professional growth and evidence-based teaching practices
  • Experience in leading and managing complex educational systems
  • Able to work collaboratively with senior leaders to drive school-wide initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of teaching success
  • Knowledge of curriculum development, assessment strategies, and student welfare
  • Educational leadership skills, including strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and manage resources effectively
