Provisional Fellow Anaesthetics I Sydney RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Provisional Fellow in Anaesthetics to join our team at a major public teaching hospital in Sydney. The successful candidate will provide high-level anaesthetic services to various departments, including surgical, obstetric, radiology, and more.
About the HospitalThe hospital is a 500+ bed facility that provides comprehensive care to the community. It offers a range of specialty services, including major trauma, severe burns, spinal cord injuries, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anaesthetic services to Intensive Care, Pain Medicine, and Preoperative Assessments
- Act as a role model in providing customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction
- Develop and maintain clinical skills through continuous education and training
- Maintain accurate records of patient events and confidentiality
- Participate in research activities to enhance knowledge and skills
- Teach and supervise other clinical staff to promote growth and development
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- Eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
- Completion of four years of accredited ANZCA Training
- Successful completion of all training and ANZCA examinations requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
