About the Role

As a disability support worker, you will be part of a team that supports individuals with disabilities in their own homes or shared living arrangements. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personal care and daily living assistance.

A crucial aspect of this role is supporting participants with complex needs, including those with physical and verbal behaviors of concern.

Availability for night shifts and sleepover shifts is essential.

Rosters will be communicated to shortlisted applicants so you can review and decide if you can commit to them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients with daily routines by integrating digital tools into their lives
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, shaving, and toileting
  • Implement person-centered active support plans and behavioral support strategies
  • Encourage community participation through one-on-one support within the community
  • Hold an unrestricted driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including public holidays
  • Utilize basic technology skills on mobile and desktop platforms
