Overview:

Kinetic IT, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Strategist to join their team. As a key member of the SOC team, you will play a critical role in driving security initiatives and providing exceptional service to clients.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills and experience in managing SOC teams, with a proven track record of driving security initiatives and improving processes.
  • They will have expertise in security tools such as Crowdstrike, Log Rhythm, Fortinet, Sentinal, Azure, and Lighthouse, and hold certifications in CISSP, CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CRISC, or CCSE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security strategies to enhance the SOC's capabilities and improve client satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with technical teams to align security initiatives with business objectives and drive process improvements.
  • Provide regular reports on security incidents, trends, and overall security posture to SOC management and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations on security matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and attack techniques to inform the SOC's defensive strategies.
