Lead Environmental Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Environmental Specialist, responsible for delivering and growing our project base across South Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field investigations including soil, groundwater, vapour, and surface water sampling
  • Perform Phase 1 and 2 environmental assessments, including preparing reports and analysing data
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support proposal development, project costings, and bid preparation
Key Requirements:
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on contaminated land or environmental management
  • Strong understanding of SA EPA legislation, NEPM, and relevant guidelines
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines
