CNC Operator Job Description

Chandler Macleod is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.
• Set up machines, load and unload materials, and perform necessary adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain accuracy.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator.
• Fitter & Turner Qualifications.
• Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge of metals and their properties.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain focused when working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and practices.
