We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Mechanical Fitter. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, adjustments & inspections of Slurry Pumps, Valves and Hydrocyclones in Goldfields Region & greater WA mining region.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with our team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Repairing and refurbishing used pumps as well as assembling new pumps in the Kalgoorlie service facility, in accordance with OEM procedures.">
  • Support of Metso Pump Trials in field.">
  • Carry out hands on service work such as adjustments, installation, commissioning and operation of pumps on and off customer sites.">
  • Internal and external report writing at completion of every field service job.">

Requirements:

">

To be considered for this role, you must have experience with maintenance and/or rebuild/assembly of slurry pumps. A mechanical trade qualification with at least 2 years' experience - recognised in Australia - is also required.
