Housekeeping Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our diverse Housekeeping team as a Houseperson. This is a part-time role with a minimum guarantee of 30 hours.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel with 200+ rooms. As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for offering a quality customer service experience, supporting the Room Attendants and Housekeeping team, and working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending to guest enquiries and requests in a timely manner
  • Providing support for the Housekeeping team
  • Transferring dirty linen and removing rubbish and recycling
  • Safe handling and use of chemicals

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for the Hospitality Industry and be committed to delivering high levels of customer service. You will also need unlimited work rights in Australia and be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and Public Holidays as per our business demands.

Requirements:

  • Previous Houseperson experience
  • A can-do positive attitude and service with a smile
  • A keen eye for detail and good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort using a two-way radio
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Flexible availability to work on a rotating 7-day roster including weekends and school holidays (and overnight when required)
  • Understanding of correct chemical usage and manual handling techniques to ensure safe work practices in this physical role
