What You Will Do

As a Policy and Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing secretariat support for the WHS Board and Industry Sector Standing Committees to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable information and communication that supports their statutory functions.
  • Developing and implementing a clearly defined WHS Board and Committee governance framework based on best practice principles.
  • Developing high-level advice and research for the Work Health and Safety Board and Industry Sector Standing Committees to enable members to discuss complex, confidential, and sensitive issues.
  • Preparing complex submissions, reports, memorandums, briefing notes, and correspondence that provide advice and support for the Minister, Deputy Director-General, and OIR senior executives as required.

You will work closely with our team to achieve our goals and objectives. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality services and making a difference in the community.
