Randstad Tasmania is seeking a skilled tradesperson with civil carpentry experience to join a respected client on multiple construction projects across Northern Tasmania. This is a permanent contract role that offers excellent long-term career prospects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The role involves applying precision trade and non-trade skills across a variety of civil projects, exercising decision-making and discretion within the scope of the role, and ensuring a high standard of workmanship that meets both business and customer expectations.
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and experience:
- Relevant trade certificate (Carpentry - Formwork).
- 2+ years of post-qualification experience in the civil construction industry.
- Proven experience in civil construction.
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- Current Driver's License and reliable transport.
- Physically fit and capable of manual labouring tasks.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Full working rights in Australia.
Desirable Skills:
- Dogging or Rigging certification.
- Working at Heights ticket.
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification.
- Forklift licence.
- Concrete finishing experience.
- Experience working with chemicals such as form oils, curing agents, epoxies, sealants, mortar, and grout.
- MR Licence.
