Job Role Overview

This role involves contributing to the development, integration, and maintenance of systems. The engineer will assist in designing and implementing system solutions while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain security Assessment and Authorisation (A&A) documentation.
  • Conduct threat and risk assessments, identifying and recommending treatment controls and mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in security working groups at Product and/or Project levels with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cyber security engineering, software development, computer networks, and embedded software systems. Familiarity with Defence cyber security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes is also essential.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Cyber Security Engineering experience with software development, computer networks, and embedded software systems.
  • Knowledge of Defence cyber security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
  • Tertiary qualifications in systems/software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Pursuing or achieved relevant cyber security certification(s).
