Senior Software Engineer

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sydney, with flexible work arrangements and an office located in the heart of Martin Place.

We're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our small team as we bring our product to life. This is a rare opportunity to have real impact and ownership in an early-stage SaaS company.

  • Design, implement and deliver complex services and features while adhering to high security standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to analyze requirements, define technical approaches and plan deliverables.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure high-quality code through peer reviews and hands-on development.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in software development, ideally with some experience in a startup environment. They should be passionate about developing web applications as a full-stack engineer and have a keen thirst for knowledge. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement complex service and feature designs that adhere to high security standards and best practices.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, define technical approaches and plan deliverables.
  • Develop high-quality code through peer reviews and hands-on development.
  • Support junior and mid-level engineers, promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience in a startup environment is highly desirable.
  • Passion for developing web applications as a full-stack engineer.
