Key Responsibilities
  • Examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
  • Follow-up on patient treatment, condition, and progress with other healthcare providers
  • Requesting, reviewing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, including radiology and pathology
  • Referring patients to emergency departments, hospitals, and medical specialists as necessary
  • Monitoring patient condition, progress, and responses to treatment
  • Advising patients on lifestyle choices, such as diet and exercise
  • Admissions to hospitals when necessary
