About This Role

Are you a strategic and technical leader looking to drive engineering excellence in a dynamic organization?

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the software development capability within our Digital IT team, overseeing cross-functional teams across frontend, backend, and DevOps.

You will be responsible for defining scalable architecture, championing best practices, and aligning with enterprise goals. Your hands-on approach will help unblock and enable delivery, driving improvement through process optimization and talent growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set Engineering Direction: Define scalable architecture and champion best practices to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Unblock and Enable Delivery: Step in to solve complex technical issues, streamline workflows, and ensure project efficiency.
  • Drive Improvement: Introduce tools and processes that reduce manual effort, optimize DevOps practices, and deliver quick wins.
  • Build Capability: Mentor engineers, grow talent, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Partner Across Teams: Work closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that matter.

What You'll Need:

  • A hands-on engineering leader with experience across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and security.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale software solutions and driving platform and architecture initiatives.
  • Strong ability to identify inefficiencies, solve delivery blockers, and optimize development practices.
  • Cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or DevOps tooling knowledge highly regarded.
