We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rural Generalist or non VR GP to join our practice in St Helens, Tasmania.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to work in a modern and high-quality practice, providing medical services to the local community. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary medical care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in the VMO roster at St Helens Hospital, contributing to the provision of medical services in the region.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Medicine or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered with the relevant medical registration authority.
  • Experience working in general practice or a related field.
  • Strong clinical skills, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
