About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Linesperson to join our team at Fetch. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for upgrading and constructing new and existing assets, including overhead and underground power lines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Upgrade and construct new and existing assets, including overhead and underground power lines
  • Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams, and maps
  • Liaise with Network Operator Inspectors and customers
  • Install and maintain conductors, aerial equipment, and underground cables
  • Install and maintain all associated electrical supply equipment
  • Attend to electrical breakdowns and emergencies

Projects

  • Public Street Light Upgrades
  • Renewable Energy - wind farms, solar farms, and battery systems
  • Civil Works
  • Overhead & Underground lines for Urban Development
  • Substation works

Requirements

  • Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Victorian Line worker Registration
  • Current VESI Skills passport with up-to-date training is advantageous

What We Offer

  • $55-$75 per hour based on experience and qualifications
  • 11.5% Superannuation
  • Company Vehicle
  • 38 hour weeks
