Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team and provide high-quality meals for our village residents.

The ideal candidate will have experience in bulk catering, buffet-style cooking, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Prepare and cook meals for large groups, adhering to safe food handling practices and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional quality and service to our residents.
  • Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and supply ordering as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and health regulations.
  • Contribute to the overall success of our team by being flexible, punctual, and professional.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in commercial cookery (Cert III or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in bulk catering or buffet-style cooking
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
