Software Engineering Leader Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering cutting-edge web-based systems and SAAS solutions.

About the Role:

  • Design and deliver high-quality web-based systems and SAAS solutions
  • Provide actionable insights into the Canonical workplace experience through data analytics and statistical analysis
  • Enable new processes and improve existing workflows by developing tools and dashboards
  • Collaborate with a distributed team to achieve shared goals
  • Write high-quality code to create new features and debug issues

Requirements:

  • Expertise in two or more of the following: backend web service programming in Python and Node.JS, solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, data analytics and statistical analysis, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, machine learning, and data visualization
  • Ability to collect and make sense of interesting data from APIs
  • Leadership skills and ability to mentor others in the team
