Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled therapist to provide evidence-based therapy services to adult clients in a private practice setting.

  • The ideal candidate will have availability for at least 2 or 3 client days per week, including one Saturday. Flexibility in session timing and the ability to offer evenings/out-of-hours sessions is desirable.
  • A strong interest in working with neurodiversity and complex trauma, along with knowledge of neuroaffirming and trauma-informed frameworks, is preferred. However, we can support you to upskill or build out a client list that suits your interests.
  • Alignment with our values at Create Space, delivering holistic evidence-based practices via a neuroaffirming, non-pathologising, trauma-informed lens, is essential.
  • EMDR training is desirable but not required.
  • The successful candidate must hold an individual ABN, be eligible to offer Medicare-rebated services, and have individual professional indemnity/public liability insurance.

  • Our room is located within a wellness studio, home to a massage therapist, pilates instructor, and yoga instructor in Brisbane.
  • The room is spacious, brightly lit, and well-resourced with therapy/assessment tools, comfortable furniture, airconditioning, tea, fidgets, an ergonomic sit-to-stand desk, computer screen, printer, and open private balcony.
