Senior Drone Operator and Project Manager

Our organization is seeking a highly experienced Senior RPAS Operator and Project Manager to lead our drone services in Melbourne. This key role involves advancing our drone inspection and survey capabilities across various industries, including power, oil and gas, solar farms, wind farms, LiDAR and photogrammetry surveys, fauna/environmental surveys, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver complex drone data projects for multiple clients across various sectors.
  • Hold a valid CASA-issued RePL (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) license.
  • Utilize experience with confined space drones (Elios, ScoutDI, etc.) for efficient project execution.
  • Capture high-quality LiDAR data for accurate 3D models.
  • Operate effectively in remote locations, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Collect detailed data for large-scale photogrammetry models.
  • Apply project management skills and collaborate with clients to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Perform Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) remote operations.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in survey or asset integrity inspection.
  • Hold BOSIET certification.
  • MSIC compliance.
  • Proven expertise in field data capture and project management.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Australia as required.
