Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Moulding Technician to join our team at our Somersby facility. As a Moulding Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating injection moulding machines, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate injection moulding machines, including ancillary equipment such as cutters, lasers, and conveyors.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on injection moulding machines, handling equipment, and other relevant machinery.
  • Repair or attempt to repair any breakdowns and call in the R&M team as needed.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Deliver finished goods to the warehouse department.

Requirements

  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive education and/or practical experience in the field.
  • A trade background in areas such as electrical, mechanical, or toolmaking is advantageous.
  • Problem-solving mindset and teamwork focus.
  • Good reading and writing skills.
