A multifaceted opportunity awaits in our Coastal Management Team. We seek a skilled and dedicated professional to join our dynamic crew, working closely with supervisors and team members to deliver infrastructure and environmental outcomes across the Port Stephens region.

We're looking for an individual who can operate a range of civil construction equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality project outcomes. When not operating plant equipment, you'll be actively involved in manual tasks associated with civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Operate various types of plant and equipment on-site, including loaders, rollers, excavators, or trucks, ensuring all gear is properly maintained and serviced daily.">
  • Perform manual labor tasks associated with civil maintenance and construction when plant operation is not required.">
  • Demonstrate experience operating machinery such as backhoes, excavators, skid steers, and rollers.">
  • Possess appropriate literacy and numeracy skills to understand worksite documentation like work method statements and quantity calculations.">
  • Show sound communication skills that foster positive relationships with the community and stakeholders.">
