Workplace Law Solicitor

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Workplace Law team in a dynamic and supportive environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solicitor to deliver high-quality legal advice and services in respect of workplace law matters.

  • Provide professional, thorough, and effective legal services to achieve the best outcome for clients.
  • A broad remit of workplace law issues, including compliance, termination, discrimination, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Representing individuals and organisations in courts, tribunals, and inquiries and instructing counsel in complex cases.
  • Contributing to the collective knowledge and learning of the team on employment, safety, and discrimination issues.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary legal qualifications.
  • Eligible to hold an unsupervised practising certificate as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.
  • Demonstrated post-admission experience in either respondent and/or applicant employment law.
  • The ability to express ideas effectively with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-level prioritisation, time management, and self-management skills.
  • Good computer literacy and competency to work in an electronic document management environment.
