Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and address patient concerns.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and hospital operations.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
- CPR (BLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Certification (within 90 days of hire).
- ACLS certification (biannually for Emergency Dept., Cardiac Cath Lab, PACU, ICU, and House Supervisors).
- NRP, STABLE certification (biannually for Nursery).
