About this Opportunity:
We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our traffic control systems and electrical infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and traffic control equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Identifying and addressing potential issues and risks to our systems and assets, and reporting them to your leading hand and the Traffic Management Centre.
- Liaising with our team and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Accurately recording and monitoring system performance and maintenance activities, and providing regular updates to our team.
- Responding to faults and incidents in a timely and effective manner, and ensuring that all incidents are recorded accurately in accordance with our contract requirements.
Requirements:
- Driver's License (essential)
- Electrical License (A) (essential)
- EWP >11M License (preferred, not essential)
- Open Cabling License (preferred, not essential)
- First Aid (essential, training will be provided)
- Confined Space License (preferred, not essential)
- Traffic Management (essential, training will be provided)
- White/Red Card (essential, training will be provided)
- Spotter (preferred, not essential)
- Rail Industry Card (preferred, not essential)
- Good knowledge of traffic control products and various electrical systems.
- Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment medical.
- Available on-call after hours as rostered 24/7 for a seven-day period, during weekends and on public holidays; overtime worked as required.
