We are seeking a motivated and innovative individual to join our team as an Employment Coach. This role will assist participants to achieve their employment goals and social inclusion under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) through one-to-one servicing with a focus on building capacity towards employment.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong networking, organisational and communication skills to create successful relationships amongst various stakeholders, including school leavers, current participants, educators, internal and external stakeholders, parents, carers and advocates.
  • Responsibilities include:
  1. Building professional relationships with participants at different stages in their employment journey
  2. Providing a positive and supportive environment for people with disability to assist them in reaching their employment goals
  3. Creating individual support plans and 12-week plans outlining participants' journeys towards finding and sustaining employment
  4. Cultivating opportunities that enable individuals to reach their potential as valued members of their community in line with NDIS goals, including work experience activities
  5. Facilitating individual and group activities using enabling styles such as job readiness skills, volunteering/work experience, and confidence-building
  6. Maintaining data integrity and efficiently managing workload by prioritising tasks and ensuring all work is completed within designated time frames
