We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a St George Christian School Facilities & Services Manager. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school's property and maintenance services.
About Our Mission:We aim to foster academic excellence and personal growth in a supportive environment. Our Facilities & Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school's property and maintenance services, including managing property projects from planning to execution.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Manage property projects from planning to execution, including outsourced works like cleaning, security, and pest control.
- Supervise contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual arrangements and safety regulations.
- Assist in planning, budgeting, and managing capital and maintenance projects, ensuring that all works are delivered on time and within expected standards.
- Collaborate with the facilities team to identify and address hazards on campus, attend health and safety meetings, and ensure that all facilities meet required safety standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An active Christian faith with regular church attendance.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Experience in property management, maintenance services, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of building safety standards and health and safety regulations.
- Financial management and budgeting skills.
- A degree or diploma in Property Management, Facilities Management, Building Management, Engineering, or a related field.
