Product Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

This position is based in Onslow and focuses on ensuring quality standards are maintained across mine-to-ship services. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory and product quality, monitor operational contracts, and provide data validation.

About the Role
  • The Quality and Operational Assurance Superintendent oversees this role, which involves reviewing ship loading documentation, maintaining data accuracy in various measurements, and monitoring scheduling changes for compliance.
  • Duties also include contract compliance verification, data validation, and ensuring that product quality meets company standards.
Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Product Quality Assurance Specialist include:

  1. Oversight of data validation processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Maintenance of accurate records, including contract compliance and product quality metrics.
  3. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have a strong analytical mindset, effective communication skills, and experience in similar roles. A Diploma in mining, marine, supply chain, or related field is desirable, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a Maritime Security Card (MSIC).

The ideal candidate will have experience in port operations and transhipping, as well as the ability to prioritize workload effectively and work independently as part of a team.
