Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic and challenging team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, taxation returns, and tax plans for individual and business clients.

You will also prepare additional statutory reporting requirements, create business cash flow forecasts, and correspond with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients.

This is a full-time opportunity that offers a chance to work with diverse clients and industries, use your expertise and experience to provide high-quality services, and develop your career as a leading accountant.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial statements, taxation returns, and tax plans for clients
  • Preparation of additional statutory reporting requirements, including payroll tax and WorkCover
  • Creation and implementation of business cash flow forecasts
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements
  • Correspondence with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients
  • Providing support and assistance to the management team
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major) or equivalent
  • Currently studying towards or recently attained CA/CPA qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in business services and taxation
  • Sound knowledge of accounting, financial, and business principles and procedures
  • High-quality organisational and time management skills
  • Strong teamwork skills, with experience working towards team goals and KPIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $78,000-$88,000, depending on experience.
