Principal Automation Engineer

Seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to lead control systems design, development, and implementation.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop process automation solutions using PLC and advanced process control (APC) applications.
- Develop HMI and SCADA systems for industrial control systems.
- Lead engineering design and development teams to create standard product portfolios and tailored solutions for customers.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
- Oversee the development and implementation of industrial control system standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering field is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in control system engineering is also necessary. Strong leadership and project management capabilities are essential. Extensive knowledge of industrial process control design, network architecture, and MES/ERP integrations is required.
Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA, and APC systems is necessary. Experience in Rockwell and Siemens PLC development is also required. Expertise in AVEVA (Citect) SCADA development and hands-on experience with industrial fieldbus protocols and industrial instrumentation are desired. Knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell variable speed drives design and commissioning is also beneficial.
