Job Title: Dispatch Coordinator

As a key member of our logistics team, the Dispatch Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transportation operations. This dynamic role involves coordinating the movement of goods from warehouses to customers, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatching freight to ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinating with warehouse teams to prepare shipments for transport
  • Creating schedules for drivers and monitoring their performance
  • Lodging and collecting freight at air and sea terminals
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required
  • Collaborating with management to optimize daily routes based on customer needs
  • Preparing daily work schedules and notifying drivers of road hazards
  • Monitoring driver logs for errors, violations, working hours, and equipment availability

For this role, we are seeking an individual with 2-3 years of warehousing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. A current forklift license or willingness to obtain one is also highly regarded. Experience with dispatch software is desirable but not essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Warehousing experience
  • Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
  • Certificate I-II in Warehousing & Distribution (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
