About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team on a short-term temporary basis. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our valued staff.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing for a high volume of employees
- Set up of new employees, including processing superannuation, annual leave, terminations, and redundancies
- Preparation of payroll tax and PAYG reporting and payroll reconciliations
- Manage employee payroll queries and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
