Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Lifestyle Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities, providing personalized support and assistance with daily living skills, community inclusion, and participation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance with daily living skills, including personal care, meal preparation, and light cleaning.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and build their capacity, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Transport individuals to and from appointments, outings, and social activities, ensuring safe and comfortable travel.
  • Implement tasks and routines outlined by approved medical professionals, maintaining accurate records and monitoring health and behavior changes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Ageing or Community).
  • A current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification.
  • An Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
  • Physical capacity to undertake the requirements of the role, including manual handling tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact in the community.
  • Rights to work in Australia.
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a minimum of 2 doses.
What We Offer
  • Permanent part-time or casual contracts, depending on location and availability.
  • Minimum hourly rate of $33.41 ($41.76 Casual) plus Super (SCHADS Level 2.1 or higher, depending on qualification held).
  • Travel allowance of $0.99c per kilometre.
  • Salary packaging up to $15,900 per FBT year, prorated.
  • Meal entertainment and venue hire annual cap of $2,650 per annum, prorated.
