Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Cellarbrations Pacific Fair. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store's operations, including providing excellent customer service, ensuring compliance with liquor licensing laws, managing inventory, and leading a dedicated team to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, Train, and Supervise Store Staff: Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Provide knowledgeable advice on products, address queries, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and meet store targets. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for increasing sales and enhancing customer engagement.
  • Oversee Inventory Control: Ensure accurate stock levels and conduct regular stocktakes to minimize discrepancies and losses.
  • Maintain Store Presentation: Ensure shelves are well-stocked and displays are attractive. Implement and enforce store policies, including those related to health and safety and liquor licensing regulations.
  • Monitor Store Budgets: Manage expenses and track profitability. Prepare and review financial reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and Execute In-store Promotions: Collaborate with suppliers on special offers and marketing materials to enhance store visibility and customer appeal.
  • Ensure Liquor Licensing Compliance: Verify age restrictions and responsible service practices. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Manager or similar role in a liquor retail or specialty store environment.
  • Leadership and Team Management Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Customer Service and Communication Abilities: Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Retail Management Software: Familiarity with retail management software and POS systems.
  • Liquor Licensing Knowledge: Solid understanding of liquor licensing laws and responsible service practices.
  • Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Education and Experience:

  • Diploma of Hospitality Management: Diploma of Hospitality Management (Preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3 Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, ideally within the liquor or beverage industry.
