About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist to join our team at One Step Two Step Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessment and intervention services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply strong clinical reasoning abilities when delivering OT or Speech evaluation and intervention to clients.
  • Work mostly in clinic settings, with some community work.
  • Engage in frequent interactions with workers and clients.
  • Provide targeted intervention to ensure all clients and families achieve their functional objectives.
  • Work in a welcoming clinic environment and offer advice to families/carers, childcare facilities, educational institutions, and community services.
  • Run group programs and provide support.
  • Offer coaching and educational programs for parents.
  • Work with a variety of clients from young children to adults.
  • Ensure all therapeutic intervention is current and compliant with NDIS practice.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology.
  • AHPRA registration (OT) or SPA registration (SP).
  • Working With Children Check or the ability to obtain one.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Driver's license and vehicle.
  • Passion for the Paediatric Sector and helping others.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment in helping others grow.
  • Sound understanding of the NDIS and working within NDIS guidelines.
