Senior Associate Environmental Consultant

We are seeking an experienced environmental professional to join our team as a Senior Associate Environmental Consultant. As a key member of our consultancy, you will provide expert advice on environmental impact assessment and management best practices to clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Environmental Impact Assessment: Provide expert advice on environmental impact assessment and management best practices to clients and team members.
  • Project Management: Manage environmental approvals projects across multiple industries, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to the development and implementation of team business plans and strategies, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Report Writing: Produce high-quality, clear reports that effectively communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A degree in Environmental Science, Town Planning, Engineering, or a related field is essential.
  • Experience: 5-10 years' experience in environmental roles within consulting, industry, or regulation, including experience leading multidisciplinary projects.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certifications: Knowledge of SA and Commonwealth environmental legislation, policies, standards, and guidelines is highly desirable.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in sectors such as mining, infrastructure, renewables, power, or agribusiness is advantageous.
