We are seeking an exceptional Associate Professor in Workforce Studies and Professional Readiness to join our Institute for Learning Sciences and Teacher Education (ILSTE) at the Australian Catholic University (ACU).
As a key member of our research team, you will contribute to longitudinal workforce studies and investigations, working closely with senior, internationally recognised scholars in the areas of assessment, policy, and teacher education.
With a strong track record in combinations of initial teacher education, assessment, and policy, you will be an outstanding scholar of significant international standing, publishing high-quality research in leading international publishing outlets that strengthen ACU's research reputation and positions the University as a sector leader in the discipline of assessment.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of scholarship, research, and professional activities in ILSTE, including engaging with policy personnel and schools.
- Lead and collaborate on large-scale mixed method longitudinal research examining the nature and function of performance assessment, data linkage, and the use of technology in teaching and assessment.
- Develop and implement research projects that focus on continuity and change in teacher education policy, practice, and professional standards, and the concept of accountability.

We offer a total remuneration package valued at $190,982 - $210,230 total rem (pro rata) pa, including a salary component of $161,830 - $178,282 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D), employer contribution to superannuation, and annual leave loading.
