Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to ensure safe and efficient material handling.
  • Operating a High Reach Forklift to optimize storage and retrieval of goods.
  • Opening trailer clips and curtains to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  • Labelling and tagging goods to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Sorting parcels and freight to maintain a well-organized warehouse environment.
  • Palletising freight to optimize storage capacity.
  • Manual handling required (up to 25kgs) to ensure safe and efficient material handling.
  • General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Operating an RF Scanner to streamline inventory management and tracking.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Forklift Driver with a valid forklift license and demonstrated competence in operating forklifts safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings if required.
