Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Thiess. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including rear dump trucks, dozers, graders, and excavators.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these machines, while also meeting production targets and maintaining high-quality work standards.

  • Safety-First Culture: Our team values safety above all else, and we expect all operators to adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  • Experience and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of 12 months' experience operating heavy equipment in a production environment. You will also need to hold a current open driver's licence and a valid Standard 11 Certificate.
