Specialist Physician in General Medicine

A vital role awaits in delivering high-quality medical care to a diverse patient base.

As a Specialist Physician, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team, providing seamless support across various wards and departments.

Collaboration is key as you work closely with colleagues, contribute to clinical governance, and offer outreach or telehealth support to rural hospitals within the region.

You will guide and mentor junior doctors and students, foster continuous improvement in clinical practices, and engage in teaching and research.

Each day brings opportunities to make a meaningful difference through leading care teams, supporting rural communities, or shaping the next generation of medical professionals.

  • Deliver high-quality medical care across a broad spectrum of cases, from short-stay to complex long-term patients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, contribute to clinical governance, and provide outreach or telehealth support to rural hospitals.
  • Guide and mentor junior doctors and students, fostering continuous improvement in clinical practices.
What We Offer

We provide a competitive remuneration package, including salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 per hour (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, 3.6 weeks' professional development leave per annum, regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover, and private practice arrangements.

Superannuation up to 12.75% and annual leave loading 17.5% are applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
