Senior Research Scientist

This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to research in a values-based organisation.
Job Responsibilities:- Establish and facilitate the M2I Consumer Advisory Group.
- Support/lead data analysis and interpretation to identify key findings and implications for policy and practice.
- Conduct analysis and interpretation of research data with input from the project team.
- Develop and manage ethics and governance applications to the Human Research Ethics Committee.
- Build and maintain effective communication channels and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This position will be based in modern offices within Perth Children's Hospital in Nedlands. The successful candidate will hold a PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. public health, health sciences, psychology), and will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Research experience in relevant fields such as child physical activity, chronic disease prevention, behaviour change and implementation science in clinical settings.
- The ability to build and sustain engagement with community groups and diverse stakeholders.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills including evidence of academic writing (grant submissions/reports, ethics submissions/reports, and publications).
