About the Role

The Administration Officer Child Health provides administrative support to the Maternal Child and Youth Health Team by prioritising workload effectively and performing duties responsibly without supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of patient data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage patient bookings efficiently to ensure timely care and smooth operations.
  • Monitor vaccination schedules closely to prevent delays and missed appointments.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification is highly regarded; candidates with a degree or certification in a related field will be considered preferred.
  • Pre-employment screening, including Criminal History checks, will be conducted thoroughly.
  • This role is classified as VPD risk; evidence of vaccination or immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis may be required.
  • A current 'C' Class driver's license is essential for regular travel and site visits.
  • A period of probation may apply, depending on individual circumstances.
