We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at DNA Recruitment. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living requirements, including personal hygiene, personal care, physical activity, and emotional support.
- Assist with meal times and feeding requirements, ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to document and monitor resident records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
- Adhere to infection control and prevention protocols, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
- Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (minimum requirement) or be currently studying a nursing degree with an Aged Care clinical placement.
- Be available for scheduled and on-call shift bookings, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to meeting the needs of our residents.
- Demonstrate the ability to work towards required resident outcomes, prioritizing their care and well-being.
- Provide proof of influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination (all three doses).
- Hold a police check or NDIS check, ensuring a safe and trustworthy environment for our residents.
