PO2 Lawyer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced legal professional to join our team at Law Staff as a PO2 Lawyer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic legal team within a prominent government organisation, providing high-quality legal advice and services in property and leasing law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient and cost-effective legal services related to property law, leasing, and conveyancing.
• Serve as the primary legal contact for clients and external lawyers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Acquire and apply knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Property Law Act 1974 and Land Act 1994.
• Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A degree in Law or equivalent.
• Admitted, or eligible for admission, as a legal practitioner in Queensland.
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a current practicing certificate.
• Understanding of, or ability to rapidly acquire, knowledge of relevant Queensland legislation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
