About the Role

Piper Alderman is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in commercial litigation, construction, and related dispute matters, with a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all work streams related to commercial litigation, including conducting thorough investigations, drafting pleadings, managing document discovery, taking witness statements, and preparing evidence.
  • Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including preparing, advising, and negotiating various agreements.
  • Lead general commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, professional negligence, insurance-related matters, and regulatory proceedings.
  • Provide whole-of-project support and advice to companies in the construction and infrastructure sector, resolving complex construction and engineering disputes using adjudication, mediation, arbitration.
  • Advise on construction and infrastructure project delivery options, contract risks, contract management, and contract administration.

Our high-performing, collegiate Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Brisbane is looking for a driven individual with commercial litigation experience to play a senior role in our team.

This practice group has been recognized for its expertise in corporate and commercial litigation, with supervising partners recognized in Best Lawyers in Australia.
